New College President Announced
The Saint Anthony College of Nursing Board is pleased to announce that Sandie Soldwisch, PhD, APN, has been named as the new President of Saint Anthony College of Nursing.
Dr. Soldwisch most recently served as Dean of Nursing at Resurrection University in Chicago and brings a wealth of experience to the college as she played an integral role in advancing the standards and quality of the University's nursing programs. She has served in many leadership capacities that has allowed her to advance the nursing profession and her extensive academic experience will be a great asset to Saint Anthony.
“The future of this college is bright; we will maintain and expand programs which meet the needs of the contemporary adult student and the changing health care world. Saint Anthony College of Nursing is moving forward into the next 100 years with pride, integrity, and energy and I am thrilled to be a part of that momentum,” said Dr. Soldwisch.
Dr. Soldwisch currently lives in Addison and is expected to relocate and begin her position on or before August 1.
Midway Village & Museum Center ExhibitIt’s a special year for Saint Anthony College of Nursing as we celebrate 100 years of educating local nurses. The college is commemorating this milestone with several events throughout the year including an exhibit at Midway Village & Museum Center. The exhibit officially opened on June 8 and highlights the past 100 year history of the school and college with artifacts and a detailed timeline. This unique display is open to the public to view in the museum lobby through December, 2015.
