Saint Anthony College of Nursing Honor Society
Faculty members began an Honor Society in 2007 with the first induction of members in April 2008. The Honor Society is to recognize achievements of students as well as nurses who are community leaders in the profession.
To be eligible for membership, an undergraduate needs to have a 3.0 GPA on a 4 point scale and be in the top 35% of their class. Graduate students need a 3.5 GPA and nurses must have a bachelor’s degree and display leadership qualities in their profession.
In the summer of 2009, the board members will be applying to Sigma Theta Tau International to become a chapter and then we will become one of more than 451 chapters on 553 college campuses. Members of Sigma Theta Tau reside in more than 84 countries and is the world’s only nursing honor society.
