MSN and DNP Graduate Programs Available

The graduate programs are designed for the part-time student, leading to a Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice.  The programs build upon the concepts of a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and students choose their track of development.

The faculty and staff are well known for their ability to provide personal, individualized attention in a caring environment. Classes are generally held one night per week, with additional work done online.

Nurse Educator Certification Workshop

The College is offering a workshop for nurses to prepare for the National League for Nursing (NLN) Nurse Educator Certification (CNE) examination.  Participants who attend all six hours of the workshop will receive 6 continuing education credits from the College.  The workshop will be held:

  • Friday, May 29, 9am-4pm.
  • 5658 E. State Street, Rockford, IL.

A lunch is included with the $175 registration fee. A $75 discount is available for current SACN students, alumni, and faculty.

100% Pass FNP Boards

100% (9 out of 9) of the APN graduates have passed their FNP board examinations and have secured employment as nurse practitioners in the region. Congratulations to Dr. Lizer, the faculty, and staff for these excellent outcomes for the May 2014 MSN class.
