A Brief History

At Saint Anthony College of Nursing we are proud of our 100-plus years of graduating top rated nursing students in the area.  We are a small, private college that fosters close relationships between students, faculty, staff and community health care providers. 

In 2008 the college expanded to a second site at 698 Featherstone Road, Rockford, IL. 

 

 

In summer 2017, the college moved its main campus to a new health sciences building located on the Rock Valley Community College Campus, 3301 N. Mulford Road.

 



College Accreditation

The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, 230 South LaSalle Street, Suite 7-500, Chicago, IL 60604, and is approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE),  1 N. Old State Capitol, Suite 333, Springfield, IL 62701-1377, to grant the baccalaureate and masters degrees.

The BSN and MSN degree programs at Saint Anthony College of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
